Okono Okono Okonomiyaki

Earlier this day about Lunch time, I was alone at home and since I was alone I needed to make my own lunch. That moment, I had this idea of trying out something new and what came to my mind is the yummy Japanese dish Okonomiyaki. All thanks to the image I recalled from the wonderful JDrama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, they were eating it on lots of scenes and remembering those scenes made me want to eat the treat. I have already ate this dish more than a couple of times before, but I haven't tried cooking it. Luckily, there is the ever reliable internet. I've tried searching for recipes and managed to read one. I just tried to check if the ingredients are available and since they are, voila! Experimentation time. I've decided to have Okonomiyaki for lunch. I'm not very particular with the measurements, and I oftentimes don't follow the instructions... I make my own (ahhaha I'm too lazy!), You should try it! It's really fun... The result still tasted fine though... :D
These are the ingredients I used:

cabbage (as much as you'd like, just as long as the batter can cope)
eggs (Depends on how much cabbage you'd have, I've used about 3)
flour (not too much, about 2-3 tbsp.)
salt (Just a little to add some flavor)
pepper (depends on your preferences)
oil (1-2 tbsp, for frying)
mayonnaise

How to make it:
cut the cabbage to fine slices/shred the cabbage!! SHRED BWAHAHAHA!, wash and set aside
beat the eggs on a bowl and add in the flour, salt and pepper
mix in the cabbage and mix mix mix them all until all the leafy cabbage is covered with the eggy batter
heat the frying pan and add oil
then when it's all hot, start cooking the okonomiyaki, the same way you cook pancakes.
garnish it with mayonnaise!
Itadakimasu!!

Random Sketch

It's already 3:37am on my clock and I'm amused to realize that I've only managed to do so little in five hours (Started at about 11:00pm) I've managed to edit our documents, do some error handling stuffs on some of our forms, and hmph... destroy my 'Add on-Call Sales' function/form, I have a backup of it though, and I've placed the codes on a notepad I secured to make sure I have something to look up if an event like some things going wrong (which in this case did go wrong) happens. Our defense is on Tuesday next week and I cannot afford to have any more mistakes. Come to think of it, we still haven't had our reports prepared. Every time I think about the coming defense, I feel my stomach twirling. Seriously, I'm getting fidgety over it.

Anyways, I know our group can do it, I'm sure we can manage this somehow. We've got to think positive and do what we can to finish it. To set the schedule, we should all be done by Sunday.

Here's some random sketch I made:

Women as Explained by Engineers

I've received an e-mail from a friend about 2 minutes ago and it contains pictures which I find funny. These things may have been posted on the internet a long long time ago, but I've only recently seen them, and since I find them entertaining, I've thought of posting them here.

Note: I don't bear any grudge whatsoever against Women/Girls (I'm a girl... but I the pics are really amusing). I also don't have any ill feelings/emotions towards engineers.

Deriving the Equation

So, how was it? haha gomen... btw, no story updates for the moment :( Maybe another time, ne?

Koshonin

An addiction/obsession or something I’d prefer calling “Love”, yes, its love—seriously, no objections—could be a way for us to discover new things, amazing things. Like for instance, my love for Shirota Yuu has led me to watching the incredibly wonderful Hanazakari no Kimitachi e live action where he played Kagurazaka, the national level high jumper who at first was thought to be bad, but was actually a good guy who even helped Sano (Oguri Shun) regain his high jumping skills.

Now, the same love introduced me to the drama Koshonin which translates to “The Negotiator”. In this drama, Shirota plays Mariya Kyosuke, a criminal on the death row who, as mentioned by a reporter had killed people when he was 19. He appeared at the start of the series, confined. His character’s a bit erm… creepy, definitely creepy. He probably has some relationship with the main character since the two of them seemed close. they’re probably friends or something. Hehe sorry if I couldn’t give any sure information regarding the character’s history because the series is still ongoing and I’ve only managed to see until episode 2. I’ll be watching more episodes later.

The character is really creepy, yet adorable at the same time, maybe it’s because Shirota’s playing the part. Anyways, I think he played the role very well. The impression was like a Criminal L or something similar to that. Ahh… it makes you love him more, he’s definitely a very talented actor *hearts*.

Ehem, putting Shirota aside, the series in my opinion is very good. The scenes, the events, the way the characters think, it’s amazing. It makes you want to see more of it. It’s definitely not a boring drama. Btw, Kyo Nobuo, the one who played Himejima Masao in Hana-Kimi is the hostage taker on episode 2.

Here are some of Shirota’s screen shots on the series:

And finally before posting this entry, I'd like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONI!!! tigulang n jud ka! Bwahahahahahaha

Happy Hearts

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
I was planning to post a Valentines chappy for one of my stories, but I didn't get the time to make it. Right now, I'm pretty busy with doing some erm... coding and some homework and some other Projects. This is definitely a busy time for everyone. Hmm... Considering that today is Valentines day, let me add a video clip from Dream Live 3rd which would make most go KYAAA!! Probably not most, maybe just me because I'm a girl who likes a touch of yaoi occassionally and also because I love Shirota Yuu and I am a fan of Kato Kazuki. HAHA! This vid wasn't uploaded by me. Credit goes to beatgirlgi

Once again, Happy Valentines!

Math: An Idiot's Guide to Falling in Love Sequel Part 3

Ok, this is the second time I'm posting this Post because I unintentionally deleted the post I made before. It really sucks, and I already had 2 comments on it, I know 2 comments isn't much to some, but those really mean a lot to me. And it totally hurts thinking about the undeniably stupid thing I just made. I feel like crying right now. *sighs*

Ok, back to what I'm suppose to write. *sighs again* then *cries*

This chapter is erm... anyways, short warning: there'll be shifts in POV's,

Here's the link:
An Idiot's Guide to Falling in Love Sequel part 3: Math

P.S. I'm so sorry for the rants, I just feel bad about what I did. :(

Delays

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for the long and I mean long delay on the story updates. T.T I'm really sorry. Actually, I've already made some intros and plots for the new chapters, but unfortunately, I haven't had time to finish them. Reasons? Well, We have two projects, whose dues are drawing near, reports, erm... exam week (just finished), documents still waiting for updates or submission, :( All these work makes you really feel the student in you, haha! Probably payback for all the time I've wasted slacking before.

Anyways, right now there are a lot of things to do so I might not be able to update the stories but I'm working on them, promise! I'll finish them when I get the time, I'll probably upload another chapter of An Idiot's Guide to Falling in Love sequel part 4, I've already managed to give it a title so I might finish it soon, hopefully. As for now (NOTE: Our exams had just ended, ne?) I'll be reading a blog of Japanese content with the help of http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr I'm very very happy with the discovery courtesy of Reich and Rigel haha! Salamat Kaayo so much :D now I will be able to read Shirota's blog. BWAHAHAHAHA! Well sometimes the translation's difficult to understand, it's probably translating per character resulting to some shuffled sentences, you might have to rearrange them to Subject-Object-Verb order, because Japanese Sentences as I have read are constructed that way in contrast to the English language's S-V-O. I'm very happy right now~ I will be able to read what my dear Shirota is writing :D Ureshii kata ~ lol, did I get it right?

I'll do some slacking this time, since exams had just finished~ So on to watching anime anime and lots of anime, and reading some of the fanfictions I've subscribed to. Tomorrow I'll be getting back to work, :D I'll enjoy this time first.

Ja~ ne!
